Dubai: Temperatures across the UAE have eased to around 40°C, marking a welcome drop from the scorching highs seen earlier. According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the maximum temperature nationwide is expected to reach 42°C on Monday, September 15, 2025.
Early morning readings recorded between 29°C and 32°C, AccuWeather reported. Afternoon highs are forecast to range from 37°C to 41°C in coastal areas, while inland regions may see 37°C to 42°C. In the mountains, temperatures will remain cooler, between 31°C and 36°C.
The NCM said skies will be partly cloudy, with low clouds forming in the east during the morning. Convective cloud development is possible, raising the chance of rainfall through Thursday, particularly in eastern and northern areas.
“Temperatures are expected to decrease slightly, with a possibility of convective clouds forming over the eastern regions by afternoon,” the NCM noted.
Humidity will remain high, peaking at 70–90% overnight and into Tuesday morning. This could result in fog or mist in some coastal and inland zones. Light to moderate winds may also stir up blowing dust at times.
Sea conditions are expected to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
