Dubai: This morning, Dubai experienced light rain in certain areas, marking a refreshing start to the day. The Met Office has predicted mostly cloudy weather, with a potential for further rainfall as the day progresses. According to updates from the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), light rain was reported in the Lehbab region of Dubai.

The NCM forecasts indicate that conditions will generally be fair to partly cloudy throughout the day. There is a possibility of developing rainy clouds, particularly towards the eastern and southern parts of the emirate, which may lead to rainfall. As night approaches, humidity levels are expected to rise, especially along the coastal areas, creating a muggy atmosphere on Saturday morning.

In terms of temperatures, today is expected to range broadly, with highs varying between 44 and 49 degrees Celsius. This heat will be tempered somewhat by the chance of rain and cloud cover. Meanwhile, nighttime temperatures are projected to drop to between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius, offering a brief respite from the daytime heat.

Wind conditions will also be notable, as moderate to fresh winds are expected throughout the day. At times, these winds could strengthen, causing the potential for blowing dust inland. Coastal areas can expect wind speeds that may reach up to 45 km/h, which could impact visibility and outdoor activities.

As for the sea conditions, the Arabian Gulf is likely to remain slight, while the Oman Sea could see slightly to moderately rough waters at times, especially under the influence of the wind patterns. It’s advisable for those planning to engage in maritime activities to remain cautious and check the latest updates on sea conditions.
