The Dubai Judicial Institute (DJI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Morocco’s Institut Supérieur de la Magistrature to enhance judicial training and promote legal knowledge exchange between the two institutions.

Signed during a virtual meeting, the agreement was formalised by Judge Dr Ebtessam Ali Al Badwawi, Director-General of DJI, and Judge Abdelhanine Touzani, Director-General of the Moroccan institute. The partnership aims to advance judicial education through joint seminars, training programs, and the dissemination of legal research and publications.

The MoU also outlines plans for mutual field visits and coordinated academic activities, with a focus on developing institutional capacity and empowering the judiciary in both nations.

Judge Al Badwawi noted that the collaboration would enrich training pathways and support DJI’s broader goal of building global partnerships. Judge Touzani echoed this sentiment, highlighting the shared commitment to designing robust legal training frameworks.

This agreement marks a strategic step in DJI’s regional cooperation efforts, aligning with Dubai’s vision to cultivate an advanced, future-ready judicial ecosystem.
