The Met Office has issued a yellow alert over eastern and northern parts of the country
Dubai: Residents can expect rainfall today across the eastern and northern regions of the country, as there may be a chance of convective cloud formation. A yellow alert was also issued by the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).
The alert states, “a chance of convective cloud formation associated with rainfall and fresh winds causing blowing dust and sand,” can be expected from 12pm to 8pm, today, June 8.
The NCM also forecasts rainfall tomorrow, June 9, across parts of the country.
According to NCM, there will be a probability of some convective cloud formation associated with rainfall, which can be expected eastward and northward of the country. Residents will also experience a gradual increase in temperatures tomorrow.

Humid weather conditions can be expected during the night and Tuesday, June 10, morning with a chance of fog or mist formation over some coastal and internal areas, especially westward of the country.
Light to moderate winds, with speeds reaching up to 35 km/hr is expected tomorrow, which may cause blowing dust during the daytime.
