Dubai: Dubai Police on Sunday announced the closure of its Smart Police Station in one of the popular locations in Dubai.
“Dear customers, please note that the Smart Police Station in La Mer is closed,” Dubai Police said on X.
Customers have been urged to visit other similar projects.
“We invite you to visit other Smart Police Stations spread across Dubai to benefit from our smart services easily and conveniently,” Dubai Police added.
Smart Police Stations function round the clock, seven days a week without any human intervention or presence at the station. Offering dozens of services, these stations have been located in at least 25 places across Dubai until 2023.
A popular tourist destination, La Mer Beach was temporarily closed down in 2022 after four years of operation. It was then redeveloped as J1 Beach.
