UAE Announces ‘Badou Baniina Ummah’ as Official Song for National Day Celebrations
The Union Day Organising Committee has launched the official song for the 53rd UAE National Day, titled Badou Baniina Ummah. The song will be part of the official live broadcast on December 2, marking a special moment for the nation.
The title, which translates to “Bedouins Built a Nation,” celebrates the UAE’s deep-rooted heritage and the enduring love and pride for the homeland. The poem emphasizes the steadfast loyalty to the nation’s leadership, which has steered the Emirates toward remarkable achievements. It also reflects the hopes and ambitions of future generations—empowered by knowledge—striving for a bright future while preserving the country’s customs and traditions.
Blending Bedouin authenticity with the progress of modern civilization, the song symbolizes the UAE’s journey, guided by its vision for advancement. Much like the Pleiades star, which has long illuminated the paths of ancestors, it remains a guiding force, witnessing the nation’s achievements and innovations.
Written by poet Ali Al-Khawar, composed by music director Mohammed Al-Ahmad, and performed by the Emirates Choir, the song is a proud anthem for the nation. It is available for streaming on Spotify, Anghami, YouTube, and Apple Music, allowing listeners to enjoy this tribute to the UAE’s heritage and future.
The song’s release is an emotional prelude to the UAE National Day celebrations, offering citizens and residents alike a chance to reflect on the UAE’s rich history and bright future.
