Staff at the Kamal Adwan, al-Awda and Indonesian hospitals in Gaza say food is running out as Israel’s siege of Jabalia in the north of the territory continues for a 13th day.
Gaza’s civil defence says it has been unable to recover the bodies of dozens of people left buried under the rubble of buildings destroyed by Israel’s bombardment of Jabalia.
The UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) says its peacekeepers have again come under “direct and apparently deliberate fire” from an Israeli tank in southern Lebanon, in the latest attack.
In Gaza, at least 42,409 people have been killed and 99,153 wounded in Israeli attacks since October 7, 2023. At least 1,139 people were killed in Hamas’s attacks on Israel on October 7, 2023, and more than 200 were taken captive.
