Last week Xerin Logistics Group Director, Hussein Jamal met with the Tanzanian Amambassodr to the UAE, His Excellency Lt Gen (Rtd) Yacub Hassan Mohammed to announce the launch of a new cargo operation connecting Tanzania directly to the UAE.
The high-level meeting, held at the Tanzanian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, focused on improving trade connectivity, facilitating faster cargo movement, and boosting bilateral cooperation in the logistics and transportation sectors.
The Jamal emphasized the company’s commitment to driving regional growth through reliable and advanced logistics solutions tailored for East and Central Africa.
“This initiative marks a new chapter for Tanzanian exports and trade efficiency,” said Mr. Jamal.
“With the launch of this cargo line, we aim to provide our customers—ranging from exporters and manufacturers to traders—with faster, safer, and more cost-effective access to Gulf markets.”
Ambassador Hussein praised Xerin’s leadership and vision, noting the importance of Tanzanian businesses taking the lead in enhancing intra-regional commerce and tapping into new markets.
“This effort is aligned with Tanzania’s broader economic diplomacy goals. It demonstrates the ability of Tanzanian enterprises to compete globally, offering services that meet international standards,” she stated.
Xerin’s approach—rooted in cutting-edge logistics technology, a strong network of partners, and a customer-first philosophy—has earned it a reputation as a trusted logistics provider not only within Tanzania, but across East and Central Africa.
With this new venture, the company is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the region’s logistics future.
