UAE weather watch: Hail in Al Ain, heavy rain with lightning and thunder in parts of Abu Dhabi

UAE residents woke up to overcast skies and cool weather on Tuesday morning. While heavy to moderate showers fell across different parts of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah last night, downpours continued overnight in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi.

Hailstones fell in many parts of Al Ain according to weather updates by the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).
