With today’s forecast predicting dusty conditions and high winds, those with dust allergies are advised to stay indoors. According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the weather will be partly cloudy, with dusty conditions at times throughout the day. As the evening approaches, cloud cover will increase over coastal and northern areas, with some islands experiencing light rainfall, particularly by night and continuing into Saturday morning.
Temperatures in the interior of the UAE are expected to range from 25°C to 29°C, while coastal areas and islands will experience highs between 24°C and 28°C. The cooler mountain regions will see temperatures between 15°C and 20°C.
Yesterday’s highest temperature in the country was recorded at 30.5°C in Al Jazeera B.G., Al Dhafra, at 4 PM.
Humidity levels are expected to rise overnight into Saturday morning, bringing a chance of mist formation in some of the internal western areas. Light to moderate winds will persist, occasionally picking up in strength. The seas will be moderate but may become rough at times in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea, so caution is advised for sea-goers.
Stay prepared for the changing weather conditions as the weekend approaches!
