Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, has strongly condemned a terrorist plot that was successfully foiled in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The plot, reportedly involving a cell linked to the banned Hezbollah organisation, aimed to coordinate with terrorist groups abroad in a manner that threatened Bahrain’s security and stability.
Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the UAE’s unwavering solidarity with Bahrain, affirming full support for all measures taken to protect the kingdom’s sovereignty and ensure the safety of its people. He also praised the vigilance and effectiveness of Bahraini security forces in uncovering and preventing the plot.
Reiterating the close ties between the two nations, he stressed that Bahrain’s security is inseparable from that of the UAE, and reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to supporting all efforts that uphold stability, safety, and national progress in the kingdom.
