Non-oil trade between the UAE and Oman reached AED 56.2 billion in 2024, marking a 9.8% increase from the previous year and a 32.4% rise from 2020.
This surge highlights the deepening economic and strategic partnership between the two nations, driven by their shared goals for growth and sustainable development.
Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the UAE’s Minister of State for Foreign Trade, made these remarks during an official visit to Muscat, where he participated in the ‘Advantage Oman Forum 2025.’ The forum, aimed at spotlighting future investment opportunities in emerging sectors, underscored Oman’s role as the UAE’s second-largest trading partner in the GCC.
Al Zeyoudi emphasized that the UAE-Oman partnership exemplifies the success of strategic cooperation between neighboring countries. This collaboration is vital not only for economic growth but also for fostering long-lasting business relationships that benefit both nations.
During his visit, Al Zeyoudi met with Oman’s Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, alongside other senior officials. The discussions centered on strengthening bilateral ties and exploring new opportunities for cooperation.
The ‘Advantage Oman Forum 2025,’ organized by Oman’s Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, also focused on global investment trends and sectors with promising potential for the future.
