Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has called on citizens and residents across the United Arab Emirates to raise the national flag on homes, workplaces, and public buildings, reinforcing a powerful message of unity and collective identity.
The appeal comes as part of a broader effort to strengthen national cohesion and highlight the UAE flag as a symbol that brings together people from all walks of life. Emphasizing the country’s resilience, Sheikh Mohammed noted that the UAE has successfully navigated recent challenges through solidarity and shared purpose.
He stated that the nation emerged stronger and more united, with both citizens and residents standing firmly behind one flag. According to him, the UAE flag represents not only the country’s strength but also the remarkable progress it has achieved.
Sheikh Mohammed expressed pride in the nation’s leadership, its Armed Forces, the strength of its economy, and the contributions of individuals across society who continue to drive the country forward. He encouraged everyone to take part in this symbolic act by raising the flag, describing it as a reflection of unity, belonging, and national pride.
The initiative underscores the importance of shared values and national identity, while also recognizing the efforts of frontline workers and all those who contribute to the UAE’s ongoing development. Raising the flag, he emphasized, is more than a gesture—it is a collective expression of cohesion and commitment to the nation.
