The UAE Ministry of Defence has confirmed that its air defence systems successfully intercepted 11 ballistic missiles and 27 drones launched from Iran on March 30, 2026, marking the 31st day of the ongoing conflict.
Since the escalation of hostilities, UAE Air Defence Forces have neutralised a total of 425 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,941 drones targeting the country. The latest interceptions highlight the continued intensity of aerial threats and the nation’s sustained defensive response.
Authorities also reported casualties linked to the attacks. Two members of the armed forces lost their lives while carrying out their national duty, alongside a Moroccan civilian contractor working with the military. In addition, eight other fatalities have been recorded.
A total of 178 individuals have been injured, with conditions ranging from minor to severe.
The Ministry of Defence reiterated its readiness to counter any further threats, emphasizing its commitment to protecting the UAE’s sovereignty, stability, and national security against ongoing aggression.
