UAE Government Launches Unified AI-Powered Data Platform to Drive Smart Decision Making
The UAE Government has launched the Unified UAE Numbers platform, a comprehensive national system powered by artificial intelligence to provide real-time, accurate, and trusted data for decision-making and future readiness.
The announcement was made during the UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025.
Developed jointly by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Center (FCSC) and the Ministry of Foreign Trade, and in coordination with federal and local entities, the platform will be hosted on the secure UAE Government Federal Network (FedNet). It aims to create a unified national ecosystem that enhances data quality, reliability, and governance while advancing the country’s transition toward smart statistics.
Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, said the initiative marks a strategic shift from compiling data to managing knowledge. He noted that the Unified UAE Numbers platform empowers decision-makers to harness data for driving development, strengthening economic competitiveness, and enhancing the UAE’s global standing.
Maryam bint Ahmed Al Hammadi, Minister of State and General Secretary of the UAE Cabinet, described the launch as a milestone in the nation’s digital transformation. She said it reflects the leadership’s vision for a data-driven government, enabling entities to make swift and precise decisions supported by reliable real-time insights.
The platform stems from the Economic Data Retreat, where 28 national entities collaborated to establish 380 economic indicators and a unified framework for key metrics such as GDP, balance of payments, and investment. Officials emphasized that this initiative will reinforce data-driven governance, support sustainable growth, and strengthen the UAE’s preparedness for future economic and technological shifts.
