The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) is showcasing its digital transformation journey at GITEX Global 2025, underscoring its commitment to modernising government operations and enhancing public services through cutting-edge technologies.
Running from 13th to 17th October at the Dubai World Trade Centre, GITEX Global 2025 serves as a platform for MoFA to highlight its latest initiatives under the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA). The ministry’s strategy focuses on integrating advanced technologies and artificial intelligence to deliver proactive, innovative, and user-centric services.
This year, MoFA is spotlighting key national programmes, including:
Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme
UAE Government Excellence Programme
UAE Unified Design System
These initiatives are designed to provide more efficient and flexible government services while maintaining a human-centric approach to governance.
The ministry’s exhibition stand officially opened on the first day of the event, featuring key digital services and transformation milestones. On the second day, MoFA will sign cooperation agreements aimed at enhancing intergovernmental connectivity and fostering innovative digital service development.
Aligned with the Year of Community 2025, MoFA will also launch new consular services to better empower residents. On the third day, media representatives will attend a special presentation showcasing how the ministry leverages AI and modern technologies to shape future-ready smart government services.
Visitors can interact with an immersive digital interface, enabling real-time engagement and direct inquiries about MoFA’s services. The ministry’s presence at GITEX highlights its growing influence in global technology platforms and its pivotal role in advancing the UAE’s vision for a fully digital government.
GITEX Global 2025 features over 40 exhibition halls, covering themes such as AI, data centres, cybersecurity, digital health, and quantum computing, and attracts global tech companies, investors, government entities, and industry experts.
