NCM warns of extreme heat across inland areas, rising humidity, and possible fog
Dubai: The UAE is set to experience sweltering conditions over the coming days, with inland areas forecast to see maximum temperatures ranging between 44°C and 49°C, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).
Coastal regions and islands can expect highs between 37°C and 43°C, while mountainous areas will see slightly cooler temperatures, ranging from 33°C to 38°C.
Skies will remain fair to partly cloudy, with light to moderate northwesterly to southwesterly winds, occasionally freshening to speeds of up to 35 km/h.
Humidity is expected to rise overnight and into Monday morning, particularly across coastal and some internal areas, bringing a chance of fog or mist formation.
Maritime conditions will remain generally calm, with slight to moderate seas expected in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
Residents are advised to take necessary precautions during peak afternoon hours and stay hydrated amid the extreme heat.
