In North London, Arsenal made a statement of intent in the title race. The Gunners brushed aside Nottingham Forest in Saturday’s early kick-off, delivering a confident display that signaled their determination to challenge for top honors this season.
Over in Italy, Juventus extended their resurgence with a dramatic, high-scoring 4–3 victory over Inter Milan in a pulsating clash that had fans on the edge of their seats. Napoli also collected three points, ensuring they remain in the hunt at the top of Serie A.
In Spain, champions Barcelona silenced critics after a sluggish start to the campaign. Flick’s men demolished their opponents 6–0, reminding La Liga rivals of their attacking firepower and intent to defend their crown.
Germany saw big headlines too. Bayer Leverkusen earned their first win under new management following the sacking of Erik ten Hag. On the other side of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich roared to victory with a commanding performance, Harry Kane netting twice in a statement win.
