The Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) Congress 2025 enters its second day today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), drawing over 25,000 participants from 180 countries.
This year’s theme, “Mapping the Future of Global Investment: The New Wave of a Globalized Investment Landscape – Towards a New Balanced World Structure,” underscores the event’s dedication to fostering sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
A significant focus of the congress is enhancing African trade and tourism.
Notably, Tanzania has a prominent presence delegation led by its Ambassador His Excellency (Rtd) Lt Gen Yacub Hassan Mohammed and the Governor of the Central Bank, Emmanuel Mpawe Tutuba who are actively engaging in high-level discussions aimed at bolstering economic ties and showcasing the nation’s investment opportunities.
These efforts are in line with Tanzania’s broader strategy to achieve sustainable development and integrate more fully into the global economy while also attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) and promoting its rich tourism sector.
