OUAGADOUGOU: Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, met with His Excellency Captain Ibrahim Traoré, interim President of the Republic of Burkina Faso, during an official visit to the country’s capital, Ouagadougou.
Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to President Traoré, along with their wishes of further development and prosperity for the government and people of Burkina Faso.
For his part, President Traoré conveyed his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court. President Traoré expressed his wishes of further development and growth for the government and people of the UAE, and commended the close bilateral ties between the two countries.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance relations in areas of economic development, renewable energy, and education, and reaffirmed their commitment to advancing cooperation in fields of mutual interest to strengthen development and prosperity for the two friendly countries and their peoples.
