RTA Upgrades Kite Beach Street to Ease Traffic Flow, Travel Time Cut by 10 Minutes
Residents and visitors heading to Kite Beach Street in Jumeirah will now experience smoother traffic following recent road upgrades by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), announced on Thursday.
The upgrades have expanded the street from one lane in each direction to two lanes in the same direction. As a result, motorists can now expect a significant reduction in travel time during rush hours, with commutes reduced to just five minutes—down from the previous 15-minute duration.
Additionally, the RTA has introduced extra parking spaces to accommodate visitors. These changes aim to alleviate traffic congestion, which was often caused by limited parking and pedestrian pathways.
The upgraded infrastructure promises to enhance overall traffic flow and improve the commuting experience for both residents and visitors in the area.
