RTA Announces Bus Route Diversions in Dubai Due to Al Maktoum Bridge Maintenance
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the temporary diversion of several bus routes due to maintenance work on Al Maktoum Bridge.
From September 29, 2024, until January 23, 2025, buses will be rerouted through Al Garhoud Bridge, affecting routes 10, 23, 27, 33, 88, C04, C05, C10, C26, E16, X28, and X94.
Al Maktoum Bridge will have limited operational hours until January 16, 2025, closing from 11 pm to 5 am on weekdays and for 24 hours on Sundays. The affected bus stops include Dnata 1, Dnata 2, City Centre Metro Bus Stop 1-1, Oud Metha Bus Station 7, Umm Hurair Road 2, and Rashid Hospital Roundabout 1.
Additionally, Route 23 will start and terminate at Deira City Centre Bus Station, bypassing Oud Metha Bus Station.
Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly using the RTA’s S’hail app for updated information on route changes.
