The ongoing political instability in Bangladesh has significantly impacted various sectors, particularly the export industry. Seizing this opportunity, India’s leading textile company, Raymond, is strategizing to tap into Bangladesh’s export market.
Raymond’s Chairman and Managing Director, Gautam Hari Singhania, revealed in an interview with PTI that the current situation in Bangladesh has opened up new possibilities for their company. He mentioned that they have received substantial inquiries from global apparel buyers, which they are preparing to capitalize on.
Raymond is already recognized as the world’s third-largest suit manufacturer, according to Economic Times. The company has made substantial investments in this sector and now plans to fill the void in Bangladesh’s garment export market, strengthening its position in the region.
