The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has introduced a new suite of Domestic Worker Services on the Work Bundle platform, marking a major step toward streamlining government procedures in the UAE.
The initiative supports the country’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, designed to simplify services, enhance efficiency, and strengthen the UAE’s standing as a global hub for living and working.
Developed in collaboration with the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security; Emirates Health Services; Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority; and the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, the new services allow users to issue, renew, or cancel residency visas for domestic workers through the unified “Work in UAE” portal.
Through the platform, customers can complete the entire process digitally—from submitting identification documents and signing employment contracts to arranging medical exams and receiving Emirates IDs and residency visas.
Khalil Ibrahim Khoori, Undersecretary of Labour Market and Emiratisation Operations at MoHRE, said the move builds on the success of earlier digital initiatives, highlighting the UAE’s leadership in integrated, AI-powered government services.
Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director-General of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security, described the Work Bundle as a model of inter-agency cooperation that simplifies customer journeys and promotes service quality.
The Work Bundle platform features a single application form and unified payment system across government entities, allowing users to complete transactions with minimal paperwork and no in-person visits. The integration aims to save time and effort for residents while enhancing overall quality of life and advancing the UAE’s digital transformation goals.
