Mohammed bin Rashid Approves AED2 Billion Housing Support for 2,971 Citizens

Dubai’s leadership has reinforced its commitment to ensuring Emiratis have access to modern, high-quality housing, with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum affirming that housing remains a core national priority under the guidance of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Sheikh Mohammed highlighted that adequate housing is a pillar of family stability and social cohesion, stressing that the UAE continues to develop a comprehensive housing system designed to meet citizens’ needs swiftly and to the highest standards.

He noted that the President’s focus on housing reflects a long-standing national approach to community well-being and dignified living conditions for all.

According to the Zayed Housing Programme, 2,971 approvals were issued from January through the third quarter of 2025, with a total value of AED2.07 billion. These included 522 grants worth AED355 million, 595 government housing loans valued at AED246.2 million, 24 approvals for housing benefits amounting to AED19 million, and 1,830 housing finance approvals worth AED1.45 billion.

Since July 2022, the programme has delivered 11,298 housing approvals, with a total value nearing AED9 billion, underscoring the UAE’s continued investment in strengthening family life and community stability.
