Manchester City were crowned champions of the Carabao Cup after a commanding 2–0 win over Arsenal at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
Rising star Nico O’Reilly delivered a decisive performance, scoring twice in quick succession during the 60th and 64th minutes to seal the victory.
The triumph marks City’s first piece of silverware this season and their ninth League Cup title, placing them just one behind record holders Liverpool, who have ten.
Manager Pep Guardiola continues to make history, securing his fifth Carabao Cup title with City—more than any other manager in the competition. He surpasses legendary figures Brian Clough, Alex Ferguson, and José Mourinho, who each claimed the trophy four times.
