A Lebanese national was on Thursday honoured by the Dubai police for his outstanding honesty and dedication to upholding values of integrity and community partnership.
According to the Police, the Lebanese, Mr Samir AI Ghazal recently found an unspecified expensive watch on the shores of Umm Suqeim Beach and immediately surrendered it to the Tourist Police Department.
At a ceremony held in his honour, Captain Ahmed Mohammed Al Fujeir Al Muhairi, Head of the Beach Security Section in the Tourist Police Department, praised him for the noble act, emphasizing that the recognition is part of Dubai Police’s ongoing efforts to encourage and motivate the public to contribute positively to the strategic objectives of the Dubai Police General Command.
While receiving the certificate of thanks and appreciation, Mr Samir AI Ghazal said the recognition fills him with pride and joy.
