Citizenship: Applicants must be United Arab Emirates (UAE) citizens.
Medical Fitness: Candidates must meet specific medical standards — a second-degree fitness for combat professions and a third-degree fitness for administrative roles.
Age Requirements: New recruits must be between 18 and 34 years old, while those returning to service can be up to 39 years old.
Educational Level: The minimum educational requirement is the completion of the sixth grade.
Conduct: Applicants must demonstrate good conduct.
