Israeli police arrest 12 Palestinians in occupied East Jerusalem for celebrating the freeing of 110 Palestinian prisoners as part of the Gaza ceasefire deal.
The UN’s agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) said its operations continue in occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank despite the start of an Israeli ban.
Israeli forces killed two more people in Jenin refugee camp a day after 10 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli air strike in Tammum town in the occupied West Bank.
Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 47,460 Palestinians and wounded 111,580 since October 7, 2023. At least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks that day and more than 200 were taken captive.
