The Palestine Red Crescent Society says it has treated at least 12 people for injuries after Israeli settlers rampaged through two occupied West Bank villages north of Jerusalem, where Palestinian homes, a nursery and a local business were burned.
The Palestinian news agency Wafa reports that Israeli forces supported settlers during the overnight violence and dozens of Palestinians have been arrested in military raids in the West Bank, hours after Israel released 90 Palestinians as part of the Gaza ceasefire deal.
A young child is among at least three Palestinians shot dead by Israeli forces in Rafah in southern Gaza since the ceasefire took hold on Sunday.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs says 915 aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip on Monday.
Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 47,035 Palestinians and wounded 111,091 since October 7, 2023. At least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks that day and more than 200 were taken captive.
