Israel’s relentless bombardment of Gaza continues, with at least 37 people killed in attacks across the Gaza Strip on Sunday, including six brothers who were volunteers providing food to starving Palestinians.
The WHO says a Palestinian child has died due to disruption of medical care after Israeli forces bombed the al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City, as global condemnation grows over the assault.
Yemeni officials say US attacks near the capital, Sanaa, have killed six people and wounded 20, as the Houthi rebel group claims missile attacks on Israel’s main airport.
Gaza’s Health Ministry says at least 50,944 Palestinians are confirmed dead and 116,156 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza. The Government Media Office updated its death toll to more than 61,700, saying thousands of people missing under the rubble are presumed dead.
At least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led October 7, 2023 attacks and more than 200 were taken captive.
