Rights group warns Palestinians are “cut off from the world” in northern Gaza as Israel launches more deadly attacks on the besieged area.

Israel carries out new strikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs as the army says it killed senior Hezbollah official Hashem Safieddine in an attack earlier this month; Hezbollah has yet to comment.
In Gaza, at least 42,718 people have been killed and 100,282 wounded in Israeli attacks since October 7, 2023. An estimated 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks on October 7, and more than 200 were taken captive.
