Israel kills aid worker in Gaza amid rising starvation deaths

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society says one of its staff was killed in an Israeli strike on its headquarters in Khan Younis a day after the Israeli military killed at least 62 people, including 38 who were desperately seeking food aid.
A 17-year-old Palestinian boy died of starvation on Saturday, one of at least seven Palestinians who died of malnutrition within 24 hours across Gaza, according to medical sources.
Monitoring group Action on Armed Violence reports that no findings have been made in 88 percent of Israeli military probes into alleged war crimes since October 2023.
Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 60,430 people and wounded 148,722. An estimated 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the October 7, 2023 attacks and more than 200 were taken captive.
