At least 29 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza, including at least 10 displaced Palestinians in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, medical sources tell Al Jazeera.
Meanwhile, two-and-a-half-month-old Eid Mahmoud Abu Jamma has died of malnutrition and lack of treatment in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis city, according to Nasser Hospital.
Israeli forces are also destroying “infrastructure, residential houses, buildings, neighbourhoods, which is making it difficult for medical teams to reach injured people and those trapped under the rubble”, according to our team on the ground.
Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud has called on the international community to take responsibility and end Israel’s war in his address to the UN General Assembly.
Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 65,549 people and wounded 167,518 since October 2023. Thousands more are believed to be buried under the rubble. A total of 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the October 7, 2023, attacks, and about 200 were taken captive.
