More than 10 people were last night killed by the Israeli air strikes at a United Nations School, Khan Younis in Southern Gaza as the Israel -Gaza war entered day 67 with no signs of cease fire in sight.
According to Aljazeera, the air strikes caused telecommunications blackouts thus hampering rescue efforts.
Elsewhere, the Israel concluded a 60-hour raid in Jenin, killing 11 Palestinians; while its forces continued to conduct more overnight raids across occupied West Bank.
Meanwhile, United Nations, this week overwhelmingly voted for a cease fire in the on-going war but the Israel Defence Minister Yoav Gallant was quoted saying the Israeli military needs “more than a few months” to defeat Hamas, adding that “it is going to be a long war”.
At least 18,787 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7 while the revised death toll in Israel stands at 1,147.
