The conflict between Israel, the United States, and Iran continues to intensify, with fresh strikes reported across several major Iranian cities. Air raids by US and Israeli forces have hit targets in Tehran, Hamadan, and Isfahan, while Iran has responded with counterattacks that have caused damage in multiple Israeli cities.
US President Donald Trump said Washington is holding discussions with Iran, though he noted that Tehran has not yet shown readiness to reach an agreement to end the conflict. Trump also called on North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies to assist in securing and reopening the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical oil shipping routes.
In the Gulf region, authorities in Dubai confirmed that a drone-related incident sparked a fire near Dubai International Airport. Emergency teams quickly contained the blaze, and officials reported no injuries. Meanwhile, several Gulf states—including Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia—said their air defence systems intercepted drones and missiles amid rising regional tensions.
The situation is also escalating along Israel’s northern border. Israeli forces have launched new attacks on southern Lebanon while deploying tanks and additional troops near the frontier. According to reports, the death toll in Lebanon has climbed to about 850 people, including more than 100 children, as the violence spreads across the region.
