Access a digital Emirates ID while your physical card is lost, damaged, or being renewed.

Your Emirates ID is your primary form of identification in the UAE. If your physical card is lost, stolen, misplaced, or being renewed, you can still use its digital version, which is fully accepted across government and many private services.

Below are the four official ways to access your digital Emirates ID.

1. Add Your Emirates ID to Apple Wallet

Apple devices only

The ICP allows Apple users to store their Emirates ID in their Wallet app for quick, secure access.

Steps:

1. Download the UAEICP app (official ICP app).

2. Sign in using UAE Pass.

3. Tap Emirates ID → select your profile.

4. Tap Add to Apple Wallet.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Once added, your Emirates ID appears in your Wallet app, even without an internet connection.

2. Access Through the UAE Pass App

Available on iOS and Android

UAE Pass is the UAE’s official digital identity system.

Steps:

1. Download UAE Pass.

2. Log in with your credentials.

3. Go to Documents → Add documents.

4. Under Personal, select Emirates ID → Request.

5. After a few minutes, your Emirates ID will appear under Documents.

This method works on all smartphones.

3. Use the UAEICP App (Official ICP App)

Available on iOS and Android

You can view and download a digital PDF copy of your Emirates ID.

Steps:

1. Open the UAEICP app.

2. Log in using UAE Pass.

3. Select Emirates ID on the main screen.

4. Tap your name to view your digital card.

5. Tap Download PDF for an offline copy.

The PDF is accepted by many institutions and is useful when uploading documents online.

4. Download the Emirates ID PDF for Any Smartphone

This applies regardless of phone type.

After accessing your ID in UAE Pass or UAEICP, you can download the PDF version, then save it:

• In your Files app

• In Google Drive

• In Apple Files/iCloud

• As a screenshot (not officially preferred but often used)

This version is useful when you need to upload, email, or attach your ID for online services.

Extra Tip: What to Do If Your Physical ID Is Lost

If you lose your Emirates ID, you must:

1. Report it to ICP immediately
Visit an ICP service center or use the UAEICP app.

2. Apply for a replacement
This can be done via the UAEICP app, ICP website, or a typing center.
