Dubai: EXIM Credit Bank (ECB) has announced that it has officially been registered as a Payment Service Provider (PSP) under the Retail Payment Activities Act (RPAA), marking a significant milestone in its mission to provide reliable cross-border financial services.

The registration was granted under ECB’s licensed entity, Exim Cred Pay Inc., which operates under the supervision of the Bank of Canada.

According to the bank’s public announcement, the authorization enables EXIM Credit Bank to expand its range of financial services to both individual and business clients globally. These services will include international remittance transfers, foreign exchange, money transferring, and the issuance of virtual and physical Visa and MasterCard products.

“This milestone marks a major step in our mission to connect people through dependable financial solutions and promote cross-border financial inclusion,” the bank said in a statement.

With this new status, EXIM Credit Bank joins a growing number of financial institutions broadening their operations beyond traditional banking into the digital payments and remittances sector—an area increasingly vital in today’s interconnected global economy.

The move is expected to position ECB as a strong player in facilitating secure, compliant, and efficient global transactions, especially for customers seeking affordable and seamless financial solutions across borders.

The bank expressed appreciation to its customers for their continued trust and support as it embarks on this new phase of growth.
