Newborns arrive just in time for celebrations in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman

Dubai: Festival joy doubled for several parents across the UAE as they welcomed their newborns who arrived just in time for the Eid Al Fitr celebrations on Sunday.

Hospitals in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah reported welcoming the auspicious day of Eid Al Fitr with the first cries of newborns, marking a joyful start to the celebrations. Delivering Eid babies came as a double delight for doctors while blessed parents expressed their happiness and gratitude for the Eid blessings.

While some parents welcomed their first child, an Afghan couple in Ajman welcomed their 12th child on the auspicious day.

The baby boy of Abdul Ghafoor Abdul Zhair and Bibi Zakekha Niako Gul was born at Thumbay University Hospital in Ajman at 12.15am.

“We feel so happy and blessed that our baby was born on Eid, making this joyous occasion even more special for our family. We are grateful and cherish this beautiful moment,” said the parents who have decided to name the baby Mahmood.

Midnight arrival in Abu Dhabi
The new bundles of joy had started making their arrivals just as the clock struck 12.

In Abu Dhabi, Jordanian couple Ashraf Joideh and Sahar Allan welcomed their second child, a baby boy, exactly at 12am at Burjeel Hospital.

The beaming father said: “They say Eid is a time of mercy and blessings — and now we have truly experienced it. The moment I heard our baby cry at midnight, I knew this Eid would be etched in our hearts forever. Our child arrived on this special day, and with that came a lifetime of meaning.”

Indian couple Kadeejath Rishana and Nishad Abdul Rahiman welcomed their child, a baby boy, at 12.44 am at Medeor Hospital Abu Dhabi.

“We are blessed to have a baby in this auspicious month. This Eid will always hold a deeper meaning for our family. We have become five members now and we celebrate both new life and new beginnings. We are overwhelmed with gratitude and joy on this special occasion,” the delighted parents stated.

Dubai babies
In Dubai, another Indian couple, Nithya and Janarthanan, welcomed their first child, a baby girl, at 12.09am at Aster Hospital Al Qusais.

“We are overwhelmed with joy to welcome our baby girl on this special Eid Al Fitar—a moment that makes this day even more unforgettable for our family…This is a truly blessed and memorable start to our journey as parents,” the parents said.

At 2.29am, Filipino couple Renel Jay Rebea and Glydel Atienza welcomed a baby boy at Aster Hospital Al Mankhool. The parents said the arrival of Ellyan Carl A. Robea on the Eid day added extra love and light into their world.

Meanwhile, in Sharjah, Portuguese couple Nour Maarouf and Dominique Roseanne welcome their first child, a baby boy, making this Eid an unforgettable milestone for the family, at 12.58am at Medcare Hospital Sharjah.

“On this beautiful day of Eid, we thank Allah for the gift of our precious baby,” said the parents, who named the baby Esa Noureltin.

An Indian couple, Shymumole Vattaparambil and. Nikhil V.S, was blessed with a baby girl at 2.40am in Aster Hospital Sharjah.

“We are overjoyed and immensely grateful to welcome our precious baby girl into the world on this blessed occasion of Eid Al Fitr. The moment we held her in our arms for the first time was truly indescribable, filling our hearts with immense joy and gratitude.This Eid will forever hold a special place in our hearts as it marks not only a time of celebration but also the beginning of a beautiful new journey as parents. We feel truly blessed and look forward to cherishing every moment with our baby girl,” said the parents.
