Dubai Unveils Mushrif Hub as New Premier Recreational Destination
Dubai Municipality has unveiled the Mushrif Hub, a new recreational and leisure destination located in Mushrif National Park.
The initiative aims to offer a unique blend of natural beauty, sports, entertainment, and community engagement, enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
Situated in one of Dubai’s largest parks, the Mushrif Hub includes a variety of integrated amenities designed for all ages and interests. The initiative features the longest mountain bike track in the heart of the city, along with a dedicated skills area for cycling enthusiasts. Additionally, the Hub offers café and restaurant spaces, as well as essential facilities like a chapel, changing rooms, and showers.
The launch is part of Dubai Municipality’s broader effort to upgrade public parks across the emirate, supporting the vision to improve the wellbeing of the community. To extend the Hub’s accessibility, lighting has been added to allow visitors to enjoy the space during the evening hours.
Mushrif Hub will also host sporting events such as cycling and running races, providing a platform for both government and private sector partners to organize activities that promote healthy living. These events will foster a sense of community while encouraging an active lifestyle in a natural setting.
Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, emphasized the initiative’s role in positioning Dubai as a global leader in public space development.
“Mushrif Hub brings together recreational, sporting, and cultural elements, creating an inclusive experience that strengthens the community’s connection with nature,”
Anwahi said.
With a 9.7-kilometre mountain walking track and a 50-kilometre mountain bike network, including paths for all skill levels, the Mushrif Hub is set to become a key destination for both residents and tourists seeking an active and engaging outdoor experience.
