Dubai has unveiled the 12th edition of its iconic Flag Garden at Jumeirah Beach, Umm Suqeim 2, as part of the emirate’s annual ‘National Month’ celebrations.
The installation stands as the centrepiece of the #ZayedAndRashid campaign, honouring the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum — the visionary Founding Fathers of the UAE.
This year’s display features 11,000 UAE flags arranged into large-scale portraits of the two leaders, spanning 60 metres in height and 90 metres in width. It embodies the nation’s values of unity, pride, and enduring loyalty.
Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, described the Flag Garden as “a vibrant expression of national pride that blends art, creativity, and heritage.” She added that the project stands as a lasting tribute to the UAE’s leadership and its spirit of togetherness.
Open to the public from 3 November 2025 — coinciding with UAE Flag Day — until 10 January 2026, the Flag Garden has become a beloved national landmark and tourist attraction. Mahra Alyouha, a member of the organising committee, said it “symbolises Dubai’s festive energy and the nation’s unbreakable bond.”
The Flag Garden forms part of Dubai’s broader ‘National Month’ campaign, launched by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and organised by Brand Dubai. The initiative unites city-wide events from UAE Flag Day through to the 54th Eid Al Etihad celebrations, spotlighting the nation’s achievements and legacy.
Visitors are invited to share their experiences using the hashtags #UAEFlagGarden and #ZayedAndRashid.
