Dubai Police Sets Guinness World Record for Largest SWAT Challenge Participation
Dubai Police has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing a Guinness World Record during the sixth edition of the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025.

The record was set for hosting the highest number of countries ever to participate in a tactical teams (SWAT) competition, with 46 nations represented.

Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, received the official Guinness World Record certificate from Hanan Spears, the Guinness World Records adjudicator, at a ceremony held at the Training City in Al Ruwayyah, Dubai. The event was attended by high-ranking officers and tactical team leaders from the participating countries.

Spears praised the achievement, saying,

“This is an official Guinness World Record with 46 nations, surpassing the required threshold of 45 countries to set this record.”
She confirmed that all guidelines and requirements set by Guinness World Records had been met, congratulating Dubai Police for this extraordinary accomplishment.

The 2025 edition of the UAE SWAT Challenge, organized by the UAE Ministry of Interior and hosted by Dubai Police, features 105 teams competing across five demanding challenges designed to test tactical skills, endurance, and teamwork. This record-setting event underscores Dubai’s leadership in international law enforcement collaboration and tactical excellence.
