Dubai Launches Shared Digital Channels to Transform Government Services
Dubai has launched the Shared Digital Channels Initiative, a major step toward creating a unified digital government ecosystem that simplifies access to services for residents, businesses, and visitors.
Announced in the presence of top government officials and led by Digital Dubai, the initiative consolidates services across seven specialised platforms, including Dubai Now, Invest in Dubai, and Visit Dubai. It aims to deliver seamless, integrated experiences through a single digital interface, moving away from fragmented service windows.
Approved by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in February 2025, the initiative supports the emirate’s goal of becoming one of the world’s top three cities in digital and human-centric service delivery. It also aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the 360 Services Policy.
Digital Dubai Director-General Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori said the initiative will leverage technologies such as artificial intelligence to offer personalised, proactive, and secure services. The move is designed to boost operational efficiency, reduce redundancies, and promote sustainability.
Leaders from key entities including Dubai Courts, RTA, DP World, and Dubai Municipality praised the initiative’s potential to streamline processes, enhance quality of life, and strengthen Dubai’s global competitiveness across sectors such as mobility, justice, trade, and tourism.
With over 747 million public transport riders in 2024 and 2.5 million registered vehicles, the initiative’s mobility platform alone highlights the scale and impact of integrated services.
Ultimately, all Dubai government services will be available through these unified channels—ensuring frictionless, round-the-clock access and reinforcing Dubai’s reputation as a global hub for innovation and digital excellence.
