Dubai Courts and Dubai Chambers Sign MoU to Enhance Commercial Dispute Resolution
Dubai Courts has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai Chambers to boost Dubai’s reputation as a trusted global center for resolving commercial disputes.

The agreement aims to foster initiatives, programs, and activities that promote mediation and conciliation for dispute resolution, enhancing the efficiency of commercial settlements.

Under the MoU, agreements sanctioned by Dubai Courts will become binding executive instruments, ensuring swift implementation. The collaboration also aims to enhance communication channels and exchange legal data, promoting knowledge-sharing in innovation and digitalization to improve dispute resolution services.

Commenting on the MoU, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director of Dubai Courts, emphasized the importance of this partnership in strengthening Dubai’s legal infrastructure and digital transformation efforts. He noted that the agreement supports the emirate’s goal of becoming a global model for alternative justice, aligned with the vision of the wise leadership.

Dubai Chambers President and CEO, His Excellency Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, praised the MoU as a strategic step to elevate Dubai’s mediation services. He highlighted that the agreement contributes to the emirate’s attractive business environment by supporting Digital Dubai’s strategy to build a robust digital ecosystem for resolving disputes.

Both entities’ efforts are in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which seeks to double the size of Dubai’s economy over the next decade and position it among the world’s top three cities. Mediation services provided by Dubai Chamber offer flexibility, confidentiality, and cost-effectiveness, helping maintain commercial relations between disputing parties.

This collaboration marks a pivotal moment in reinforcing Dubai’s legal and economic standing globally.
