Dubai Chamber of Commerce has wrapped up a successful trade mission to Georgia and Armenia, reinforcing its efforts to expand economic cooperation between Dubai and the Caucasus region.
The mission’s second leg in Armenia featured 301 business-to-business meetings aimed at deepening trade and investment partnerships.
The chamber, operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, organized a high-profile business forum in Yerevan titled Doing Business with Armenia. Held in collaboration with several Armenian institutions, the event brought together 237 participants, including senior officials, business leaders, and representatives from both nations.
Salem Al Shamsi, Executive Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, said the mission marks an important milestone in strengthening Dubai’s global business links. He emphasized the chamber’s commitment to helping Dubai-based companies establish international partnerships that enhance competitiveness and drive mutual growth.
Dubai’s non-oil trade with Armenia has surged by 76%, climbing from AED14.6 billion in 2023 to AED25.7 billion in 2024. By June 2025, around 500 Armenian businesses were registered as active members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, reflecting the growing economic synergy between the two markets.
During the forum, the chamber showcased Dubai’s business-friendly environment and highlighted key sectors for collaboration. Potential export areas from Dubai include electronics, motor vehicles, beauty products, and textiles, while investment opportunities in Armenia span retail, logistics, hospitality, tourism, food and beverage, and ICT services.
Representatives from 16 Dubai-based companies across industries such as energy, construction, pharmaceuticals, and logistics joined the mission, underscoring Dubai’s expanding presence in emerging global markets.
