As Dubai International Airport gears up for one of its busiest travel seasons, Dubai Airports has rolled out reduced parking rates and a set of travel tips to help passengers enjoy a smoother, more efficient journey.
From June 10 to 30, guests using long-term parking at all DXB terminals will benefit from significantly lowered fees—just in time for the peak summer holiday period.
With over 250,000 passengers expected daily, the airport is offering these measures to ease congestion and enhance the overall travel experience. The special offer applies across Terminal 1 Car Park B, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3, with rates now set at AED 100 for three days, AED 200 for seven days, and AED 300 for 14 days.
Travellers can also make use of DXB Express Maps, a real-time digital wayfinding tool accessible by scanning a QR code on any flight information screen. The service helps guests locate gates, amenities, restaurants, and retail outlets within the airport, simplifying navigation through the bustling terminals.
To ensure a hassle-free experience, Dubai Airports has also issued ten travel tips for passengers:
Check-in with ease: Emirates passengers are encouraged to use home check-in, early check-in, self-service kiosks, or city check-in options for faster processing.
Arrive on time: Passengers flying with other airlines should not arrive more than three hours before departure. Online check-in is recommended where possible.
Speed through immigration: Children aged 12 and above can use Smart Gates to pass through immigration more quickly.
Be prepared: Weigh luggage at home, gather documents in advance, and be ready for security checks to avoid last-minute stress.
Pack smart: Batteries and power banks are not allowed in checked baggage. These must be packed in hand luggage due to safety regulations.
Use public transport: The Dubai Metro connects directly to Terminals 1 and 3, offering a convenient and reliable option, especially during peak hours or holidays.
Plan for pickups: Visitors collecting guests are encouraged to use designated parking or valet services, which are also included in the temporary parking discount.
Beat the traffic: Allow extra time when heading to the airport, as roads to DXB can get congested during peak travel periods.
Support for People of Determination: DXB provides enhanced accessibility features, including marked routes, trained staff, and a dedicated lounge in Terminal 2.
Enjoy the amenities: Once inside, travellers can relax with access to DXB’s extensive shopping, dining, lounge, and hospitality options.
