DMCC Strengthens UAE–UK Tech Ties with High-Profile London Roadshow
DMCC, the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, hosted a high-impact roadshow in London to deepen bilateral ties between the UAE and UK in fast-evolving technology sectors, including AI, Web3 and gaming.
The event brought together British business leaders, investors and government stakeholders, highlighting the growing opportunities for collaboration and positioning Dubai as the MENA region’s leading innovation hub. DMCC showcased its role as a key enabler of growth in emerging sectors, promoting Dubai’s competitive advantages as a global destination for technology-driven enterprises.
The UAE–UK economic relationship continues to grow, with the UAE now ranking among the UK’s fastest-growing trading partners outside Europe. This shift is increasingly defined by future-focused industries such as technology, advanced services and sustainability — all central to DMCC’s strategic vision.
Ahmed bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC, stated:

DMCC is home to over 2,130 British companies, representing more than 42% of all British businesses operating in the UAE. The London visit reaffirmed DMCC’s role as the preferred hub for British firms looking to expand in the region.
This roadshow is part of DMCC’s wider global outreach, targeting strategic markets to unlock new growth opportunities. With a diverse community of over 25,000 member companies from 180+ countries and contributing 15% to Dubai’s annual FDI, DMCC continues to play a pivotal role in driving international business and innovation.
