Daily Times TV, a subsidiary of the Daily Times media group, has officially launched a new weekly television and digital series titled ‘The How To’, a programme designed to offer practical solutions to everyday challenges through in-depth conversations with professionals from various fields.
The series, hosted by seasoned presenter Justus August, adopts a one-on-one interview format that allows experts to unpack complex issues in a clear, relatable and solution-driven manner. ‘The How To’ is positioned as an educational and inspirational platform aimed at equipping audiences with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate personal, professional and societal challenges in an ever-changing world.
Speaking to the Daily Times Newspaper, the programme’s producer, Mr Emmanuel Maijo, said the concept behind the series was born out of the need for content that goes beyond discussion and actively empowers viewers.
“The programme was designed to give audiences practical solutions across all aspects of life,” Mr Maijo explained. “Topics are carefully selected, and professionals are invited according to their specific areas of expertise to ensure that each subject is handled with authority, relevance and depth.”
The inaugural episode tackled one of the most debated contemporary issues: the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the classroom. The discussion explored whether AI poses a threat to teachers and students or whether it should be embraced as an opportunity to enhance learning and teaching outcomes.
Contributing to the discussion, Mr August emphasised the inevitability of technological progress, drawing a vivid analogy to illustrate the risks of resisting change.
“Denying AI is like denying people the chance to swim to the other side of the ocean while others are already swimming there,” he said, concluding that adaptation and responsible integration, rather than outright rejection, are key to staying relevant in the modern world.
Through such conversations, ‘The How To’ seeks to demystify emerging trends, social issues, career paths and life skills, making expert knowledge accessible to a broad audience. The series aligns with Daily Times’ broader mission of informing, educating and empowering the public through credible and forward-looking journalism.
‘The How To’ will premiere weekly on the Daily V Online YouTube channel, allowing viewers to engage with the content at their convenience while expanding Daily Times TV’s digital footprint.
