ABU DHABI: — Yannai Kadamani, Colombia’s Minister of Cultures, Arts and Knowledge, said that Culture Summit Abu Dhabi 2025 serves as a vital strategic platform for exploring issues of cultural identity, the challenges that distinguish cultures, and the ties that unite them.
The Colombian Minister of Cultures pointed out that the summit provides a valuable opportunity to enhance cultural cooperation between countries and work towards deepening understanding among different peoples.
In her remarks to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), she stated that Latin American countries, including Colombia, share many core cultural values with the UAE, and this summit underscores the importance of fostering communication between diverse cultures.
Kadamani added, “What unites us is much greater than what divides us,” stressing that cultural events provide an opportunity to broaden mutual understanding and foster shared cultural awareness among peoples.
She also commented on the UAE’s experience, praising the remarkable development it has achieved in a short time frame. She views the UAE as a model for building a rich and diverse cultural identity and expressed her hope that this development will continue, further enhancing the UAE’s regional and global influence.
Kadamani stressed that culture remains a key tool for achieving peace and harmony among peoples, noting that cultural forums are a fundamental pillar for consolidating cooperation between countries on both cultural and humanitarian levels.
