Abu Dhabi: CDBR Bank of Tanzania has left its footprints in the prestigious Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) Congress 2025, held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The Tanzanian bank joined global investors, policymakers, financial institutions, and business leaders in this high-profile platform aimed at fostering global investment partnerships and innovation.
The AIM Congress, under the theme “Adapting to a Shifting Investment Landscape: Harnessing New Potential for Global Economic Growth”, provided a strategic opportunity for CDBR Bank to showcase Tanzania’s growing economic potential and its own role in financing and supporting sustainable development in the region.
CDBR Bank’s delegation, led by top executives, used the exhibition space to highlight Tanzania’s key investment sectors—such as agriculture, infrastructure, energy, and manufacturing—and the bank’s role in financing transformative projects across these areas.
During the congress, the CDBR team engaged with international stakeholders, multilateral agencies, and sovereign wealth funds, discussing opportunities for collaboration, project financing, and joint ventures in Tanzania.
The exhibition booth attracted considerable attention, offering visitors insights into the bank’s flagship projects, green financing initiatives, and public-private partnership models.
Talking to Daily Times Newspaper, the CDBR Bank said its aims was to position itself as a bridge between Tanzanian opportunities and global capital.
“We are optimistic about the future and will continue to participate in global platforms like AIM to share Tanzania’s story, build networks, and bring strategic investment home,” the CDBR representative added.
